Job description:

Production Planning & Scheduling

Develop and implement production schedules for SMT and PCBA assembly lines.

Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of components and materials.

Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet delivery deadlines.

Team Management:

Lead, train, and motivate production staff including operators, technicians, and supervisors.

Foster a safety-conscious and quality-focused work environment.

Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate continuous improvement.

Process & Workflow Optimization:

Oversee SMT pick-and-place, reflow soldering, and assembly processes.

Continuously analyze production processes to improve efficiency, yield, and quality.

Implement best practices for SMT line operation, including equipment setup, calibration, and maintenance.

Quality Control:

Ensure adherence to quality standards such as IPC-A-610,

Collaborate with Quality Assurance to address defects and implement corrective actions.

Conduct regular inspections and audits of production output.

Equipment Management:

Manage and maintain SMT equipment, including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and testing equipment.

Coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment upgrades.

Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain accurate production records, process documentation, and traceability.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Cost & Inventory Control:

Monitor and control production costs.

Manage inventory levels of components and finished goods effectively.

Job Requirements:

1. Work experience (including technical/ professional training and qualification).

2.Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

3.Proven experience in SMT/PCBA manufacturing, with at least 8 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

4. Strong knowledge of PCB assembly processes, equipment, and industry standards (IPC standards).

5. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

7. Familiarity with SAP/MES systems and production management software.

8. Good communication and teamwork skills.
