About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking to join our team at RHB Bank. In this role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients, drive lending and deposit growth, ensure high-quality credit assessments, and deliver tailored banking solutions. You will play a key role in strengthening client relationships, safeguarding asset quality, and contributing to the overall profitability of the Corporate Banking division.

What you will be doing

  • To attend to a customer's request and preparing credit application to seek approval accordingly for granting of new loans.

  • Perform annual review of existing portfolio and to attend to request for additional loans, variations or other requests and seek approval accordingly. Maintain good customer relationship.

  • Issue letter of offer and instruct / oversee the completion of documentation.

  • Handle requests for reports and reporting, as well as respond to queries from authorities, auditors, and other stakeholders.

  • To acquire new customer acquisition and grow fee-based income.

  • Strategize to increase loan growth target & portfolio net income and improve RAROC target.

  • To grow deposit & liaise with product partners for cross selling of other banking products & services and to increase share of wallet.

  • Proactively monitor the market & industry development and propose measures to protect and improve asset quality and reduce GIL ratio.

  • A self-starter with the ability to deliver quick turnarounds without compromising work quality, while minimizing errors and preventing audit findings.

  • Ensure compliance of regulations & Bank policies & guidelines including Credit & AML Guidelines.

  • To assist and propose solution to resolve customers' issues and to assist to coordinate various banking activities such as audit confirmation, bank statement, online banking queries.

  • Provide guidance to Junior Officers.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate or commercial banking within an established financial institution.

  • Preferably a Certified Credit Professional (CCP) or candidate who has passed Omega's Credit Skills Assessment (CSA).

  • Strong marketing, business prospecting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Driven, organized, and equipped with strong relationship management capabilities.
