Nelton Engineering Sdn Bhd has been a trusted name in fire protection for over 45 years. As we continue to expand, we are looking for Contract Executives to join our team.

Role Description

We are growing and seeking to fill two distinct roles within our contracts and commercial team. Whether you are building on your professional experience or starting your career, we have a place for you.

Position 1: Procurement & Contract Executive

This role is for someone with foundational industry experience ready to take on more responsibility in supporting engineering projects.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a contracts, quantity surveying (QS), procurement, or commercial support role, preferably within construction, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A strong grasp of core contract terms and processes (EOT, VO, claims, certifications, payment cycles).
  • Experience with industry software like Cubicost or CostX is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • The ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is highly regarded for effective liaison with key suppliers and subcontractors.
  • You are organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with solid skills in Microsoft Excel and Word

Position 2: Contract Administrator

This is a structured entry-point for talented individuals eager to launch their career. Interns are welcomed to apply. We are committed to training the right person, with a potential pathway to a full-time position.

Who We're Looking For:

  • You may be a final-year student, a recent graduate, or someone seeking a career switch into the engineering/construction industry.
  • A related diploma or degree is an advantage, but a keen willingness to learn is essential. We have a strong desire to teach you.
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in asking questions.
  • You possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
  • Proficiency in Malay and Mandarin or Cantonese is not essential but highly desired.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:45 PM (3 Saturdays per month, with one Saturday of your choice off)
