About the role

As a Site Engineer at Multi Construction SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of civil and structural engineering projects in Kuching, Sarawak. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and quality standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring timely and efficient execution of work
  • Monitor compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant regulations
  • Conduct regular site inspections and document progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise
  • Collaborate with the project management team to address challenges and implement solutions
  • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the project
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and site safety

What we're looking for

  • Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar site engineering role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and project management principles
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance on-site
