JOB DESCRIPTION

  • To handle full set accounts, supervise the day-to-day account operation activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Perform daily accounting operations including consolidating receivables, verifying and processing of invoices and payments, and statement of accounts reconciliation.
  • Handle bank-related transactions including monitoring of bank balances, preparation remittances via online.
  • Monitor and track daily/weekly cash flows to ensure availability of working capital.
  • Coordinate and support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in a timely and accurate manner, including assisting in preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure account team to maintain organized documentation and filing of records to support all accounting entries
  • Ensure timely and accuracy of financial data entries (including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations & etc)  into accounting system are in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
  • To lead finance team (AR & AP Executives) & assist various departments in accounting issues and queries to ensure data accuracy
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with statutory audit and tax requirements.
  • Handle all company related correspondences including letter preparation etc.
  • Work closely with operation team to provide strategic direction to minimize transportation cost, monitoring customer credit limits, and ensure that the sales contract database is kept up to date and product & service invoicing is done in a timely manner
  • Monitoring and reconcile of closing stock to ensure cost & quanity are captured into account accurately.
  • Other ad hoc duties assigned by superior.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Welcome candidate possess Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Professional Certificate or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • At least 5Year(s) of working experience.
  • Hardworking, self-motivation and responsibility.
