About the role

(EquineMathsTuition) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager&Home Tutor/Teacher to join our team in Selangor. This is a full-time position, providing high-quality tutoring services to students in the local area. As a Home Tutor/Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational development and academic success of our students.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide one-on-one or small tutoring sessions in science /accounting stream , focusing on various topics and concepts
  • Develop lesson plans and teaching materials to cater to the individual needs of each student
  • Monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to help them succeed
  • Collaborate with parents and educators to ensure a holistic approach to student learning
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the field of education
  • Assist in day-to-day management of the tuition centre.
  • Handle enquiries, student registration, and class scheduling.
  • Supervise tutors and ensure classes run on time and smoothly.
  • Support marketing activities (social media posting, flyers, etc.).
  • Coordinate home tuition arrangements and tutor assignments.
  • Maintain records, attendance, and centre cleanliness.
  • Management & Administrative Duties

What we're looking for

  • Candidate must possess at least STPM/Diploma/Degree in any field. Preferably specialized in Accounting, Mathematics, Science Stream Education or equivalent.
  • Language required: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Tamil
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Training will be provided
  • Skills required: Teaching, Patience, Time Management, Teaching Skills, Subject Knowledge, Adaptability
  • Able to travel around Klang valley. (allowances provided)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
  • Proficient in the use of educational technology and resources to enhance the learning experience
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of students
