We are the Industry Division of IJM Group, one of Malaysia's leading conglomerates. We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Health and Safety Officer to join our team

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure implementation and continuous improvement in the overall HSE System.
  • Ensure that safety and health practices are in accordance with company and government mandates.
  • Ensure that all contractual / company and authority requirements for HSE are complied with.
  • Ensure that all non-conformance issues are promptly investigated, CA are proposed, and closed out.
  • Investigating accidents, perilous incidents, and workplace-related diseases.
  • Writing, submitting, and filing incident reports with recommendations.
  • To promote HSE to all members of the organization, including management, supervisors, and workers, for their commitment and involvement in the HSE management system.

Requirements:

  • Preferably 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in occupational safety and health in the construction industry.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health/ Engineering/ Science or equivalent.
  • Registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH Malaysia (Green Book) will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of the HSE management system, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 will be an added advantage.
