Job Description for Information Technology Network Support Engineer

Responsibilities

  1. Plan, manage, revise and continuously improve IT infrastructure, network topology, cabling and interconnect (i.e. network switch/hub, Wireless Access Points, Firewall ande

t

).

  1. Plan and maintain High Availability on IT infrastructure (uptime on systems, databases

,n

etwrk).

  1. Monitor and propose improvement/upgrade for systems and network gro

w

th dmands.

  1. Ensure IT Systems and computer are secure and are compliant with Corporate

IT

Securit Policy.

  1. Daily monitor the IT Service Request/ Incidents to ensure timely correcti

o

n of anyincidents.

  1. Maintain a proactive approach in attending to user's requests, identify and troubleshoot problems, enquiries, provide advice and follow up within a stipulated time to ensure the smooth operation of the end user nee

ds

and system vailability.

  1. Prepare technical documentation, procedures and guidelines

a

nd update acording to SOP.

  1. Performing IT daily checklist to ensure server room tidiness and ensure

al

l IT equipment re working fine.

  1. Liaise with Global IT Team and vendors to ensure projects, services and tasks are implemented as

p

er specificationand timely manner.

  1. To perform any other tasks or assignments as di

ted by the ma

nagemet from time totime.

Requirements:


• Education Level: At least Degree or above in IT related co

urs

e (Computer Science,Information Technology)


• Competency and experience: At least 2 years in IT wor

kin

g experience on hardware software & networking.


• Cisco Certified Network Associa

t

e (CCNA) or equivalent crtification is preferred.


• Previous work exp

eri

ence at manufacturing compny are encourage to apply.


• Skills: Able to provide technical support& explain technical proble in simple term in English.


• Languages: English
