About the role

As the Sales & Marketing Manager at FRD PERFORMANCE MOTORSPORT (M) SDN BHD, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and achieving its ambitious sales and marketing objectives. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur, where you will be responsible for leading the sales team and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote the company's high-performance motorsport products and services.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans to generate leads, increase brand awareness, and drive revenue growth
  2. Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support to help them achieve their targets
  3. Identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships to expand customer base and foster loyalty through store visits.
  4. To maintain good relationships with existing customers and enhance the buying power of existing customers by knowing their preferences.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content, campaigns, and events that showcase the company's products and services
  6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, continuously refining strategies to improve sales and marketing effectiveness
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  8. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote the company's products and services
  9. Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify and capitalise on new sales opportunities
  10. Liaise with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment on sales initiatives
  11. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to drive repeat business and secure new accounts
  12. Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  13. Provide strategic input to the management team on sales-related matters

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales or marketing management role, preferably within the automotive industry
  2. Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating sales teams to achieve ambitious targets
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners
  4. Proficient in data analysis and using business intelligence tools to inform strategic decision-making
  5. Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and adapt to changing market conditions
  6. Passionate about the motorsport industry and committed to delivering exceptional customer service
