  • Translate documents, specifications, presentations, feedback, reports, and emails between Japanese and English.
  • Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation during meetings and discussions between Japanese expatriates/clients and local staff.
  • Support Japanese expatriates with real-time interpretation during daily interactions.
  • Assist in recruitment activities, including interpreting during candidate interviews.
  • Maintain a high standard of translation and interpretation quality while adhering to deadlines.
  • Ensure translated or interpreted content accurately reflects the original message and tone.
  • Proofread translations to ensure correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness and clarity of communication.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience as a Japanese interpreter/translator in any industry.
  • Candidates who are native or fluent Japanese speakers with working experience in a Japanese business environment are also encouraged to apply.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N1.
  • English proficiency equivalent to CEFR C1 or above.
  • Strong interpretation skills and proven experience in verbal communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong proofreading and content editing abilities.
  • Familiarity with translation software is an advantage.
  • Interest or experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
  • Experience in project coordination or management is an added benefit.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4, RM8,000.00 per month
