The Role:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled HVAC Engineer to join our expanding Malaysia team. You will play a central role in the construction, commissioning, and ongoing optimization of our advanced manufacturing facilities, which are crucial for producing next-generation battery cells and energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership:
  Take ownership of the construction and timely, safe, quality delivery of a key phase (Phase 4) of our advanced cell manufacturing facility. Provide critical front-end input and follow-through for preceding phases.
• Planning & Design Review:
  Lead the planning for major facility modifications, expansions, and HVAC/electromechanical projects during the operational phase. Conduct technical reviews of design concepts and drawings.
• Project Governance & Acceptance:
  Oversee all engineering projects within your jurisdiction, ensuring safety, quality, and进度 control. Organize and lead project验收.
• Performance & Compliance:
  Drive the achievement of key regional KPIs, including safety (MOH指标), energy conservation targets, engineering standards compliance (EQ类项目), and user satisfaction.
• Team Management & Development:
  Manage, mentor, and develop the technical team within your area, fostering their professional growth and skill enhancement.
• Operational Excellence:
  Ensure the continuity and reliability of plant operations and production energy supply. Champion the economic viability and efficiency of renovation and expansion projects.
• Strategic Coordination:
  Coordinate engineering, maintenance, and operational management within specialized areas and complete regional coordination tasks as assigned.

Key Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
• Proven experience in HVAC and electromechanical systems within large-scale industrial, advanced manufacturing, or clean-tech construction and operational environments.
• Strong background in managing the full project lifecycle—from design review and construction oversight to commissioning and maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability in team leadership, technical mentorship, and performance management.
• Excellent understanding of safety protocols, energy management, and cost-control principles in an industrial setting.
• A results-oriented professional with strong coordination skills and a commitment to achieving high-performance standards.
• Effectively bilingual - English & Mandarin to better engage overseas stakeholders.
