General Summary

· To perform daily site supervision of the work activities.

· To liase & maintain relationship with subcontractor, local authority, consultant & client.

Duties and Responsibilities:-

· Assisting Project Engineer/Project Manager/Project Director in supervising, monitor and control daily works at the project site.

· Reading and understanding of construction drawings and to check for discrepancies if any.

· Report to Project Engineer/Project Manager/Project Director on the daily progress of the project.

· Daily work planning, management of sub-con and ensure work done accordingly.

· Perform site works supervision and inspections.

· Make sure all activities are following safety requirements and regulations, executed in accordance with quality standards required.

· Liaise and coordinate with Clients, Sub-contractor and Suppliers.

· Coordinate and monitor subcontractor's activities at site as per work schedule.

· Carry out joint measurement with sub-contractor/client/consultant.

· Check quality and quantity for material delivered to site.

· Receiving and organize the delivery & unloading of material at site store/laydown area.

· Liaise with lorry driver according to site location if any.

· Make sure proper material control and storage, quality assurance and full machine utilization.

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, relevant stakeholders and the public using principles of good customer service.
  • Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by Project Engineer/Project Manager/Project Director.

Requirements:-

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years working experience at site. Experienced with TNB's project is added advantage.
  • Posses valid CIDB green card. NTSP, GCQP & RAA holder is added advantage.
  • Familiar & able to operate Microsoft Office.
  • Able to stay full time at site (Perlis, Kedah, Melaka & Selangor).
  • Posses a Lifting/Rigging/Excavation  certificate is an advantage.
  • Familiar with safety standard concepts and best practices for construction/substation/environment.
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills in both English & Bahasa Melayu.
  • Keen intention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
  • Team work
  • Valid driving license & have own transport.
  • Minimum supervision.
  • Able to work in irregular hours to complete the site work activities.
