About the Role

Be part of the world's most-loved fragrance brand At Bath & Body Works, we create fun, uplifting experiences for our customers through our signature scents, body care, and home fragrance collections. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in leading the team and business, driving exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring smooth store operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support Sales & Drive Store Performance

• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales & KPIs performance.
• Support the execution of product and sales strategies to achieve store goals.
• Help communicate targets, Conversion Rate, and Average Transaction Value to the team regularly

2. Deliver the Bath & Body Works WOW Experience

• Lead by example to bring the 7 Steps to WOW to life.
• Ensure every shopper feels welcomed, engaged, and excited to explore fragrance.
• Coach team members on service behaviours that create memorable, feel-good moments.

3. Develop & Support the Team

• Help cultivate a fun, energetic, and performance-driven culture.
• Provide on-the-floor coaching, feedback, and support to enhance team capabilities.
• Assist the Store Manager in staffing, onboarding, training, and succession planning.

4. Operational & Visual Excellence

• Partner with the Store Manager to ensure daily store operations follow SOPs, including opening/closing, cost control, cash handling, and manpower planning.
• Maintain high standards in visual merchandising, product placement, and seasonal updates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment.

5. Innovation & Productivity Support

• Contribute ideas to improve store efficiency, customer experience, and team productivity.
• Encourage team members to share insights and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Core Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of retail experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Good understanding of Retail Metrics such as Conversion Rate, UPT, Avg Transaction Value (ATC)
• Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and support fast-paced store operations.
• Comfortable analyzing store performance and supporting action plans.
• Passionate about customer experience and leading a high-energy team.
