  • Monitor and follow up emails regarding berthing plan and their cargo can be either loaded or discharged.
  • They will include the calculation of the number of port operatives required to load and unload in a safe and timely manner.
  • Manage on vessel's purchasing as and when required by vessel.
  • Preparing vessel's Mate Receipt and Statement of Facts.
  • Closely follow up with the Tally gang and update the daily load/discharge cargoes.
  • Able to perform Port Clearance, Crew change and attend Owner's husbandry matters.
  • Manage spares logistics and clearance with Customs and Port Authorities.
  • Maintain good relationships with Local Authorities such as Customs, Immigration, Marine Dept. and Port Authorities.

Responsible for the on-time, safe, effective and efficient load -unload of cargo from vessel and vessel's clearance.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES HSEQ Duties every employee shall:

  • Take care of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts or oversights.
  • Not interfere with or misuse anything supplied for their health, safety and welfare.
  • Report quality related problems and HSSE hazards or deficits within their area to the HSEQ Department.
  • Promote and take part in the HSEQ continuous improvement process.
  • Properly maintains assigned equipment and monitor compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with HSSE guidelines and regulations in addition to promoting safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complying with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
  • Ensures compliance with Part VI General Duties of Employees of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (ACT 514) & Regulations and Orders.

Preference certifications:

Certification/Diploma/Degree in related field or equivalent

2 years of relevant degree

Holding Kursus Ejen Perkapalan (KEP) certificate.

Holding Kursus Ejen Kastam (KEK) certificate is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM4,500.00 per month
