Business Intelligence Analyst

The Job:

• Conduct in-depth data analysis, data modeling and use of statistical methods to effectively support the development and refinement of strategic initiatives.
• Communicate business intelligence insights and recommendations to the product owners and other stakeholders.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze performance of the company's products.
• Monitor, analyze, and report performance to the senior management team.
• Collaborate with various teams such as IT, Online Marketing, and Sales to support analytical needs, and define analytics opportunities for company products.
• Automate reporting processes as needed by team and company.
• Working with the data engineering team to ensure data quality and correct discrepancies.
• Support the finance team in data reporting needs and financial initiatives.

Requirements

The Person:

• Possesses at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in data analytics and business strategy.
• Attention to details and being able to work independently to meet tight deadlines.
• Can communicate well and work closely with different people from various teams to understand the process/business/problem well to better handle the task at hand.
• Possesses good verbal and written communication skills.
• Have a positive attitude and see challenges as opportunities.
• Expert in performing data queries, extraction, manipulation, and analysis with tools like SQL, Python, Pandas, and Apache Spark Dataframes.
• Deep familiarity in using BI tools such as Power BI and Google Looker Studio to produce automated dashboards. 
• Deep familiarity in using spreadsheet tools such as M/S Excel and Google Sheet.
• Knowledge of statistical concepts (regression, statistical tests, etc).
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, App Store Connect, Google Play Console will be advantageous.
