About the role

AHL & CO is an established audit firm located in Persiaran Rimbayu, Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor. We are seeking Audit Associates to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality audit services to our diverse range of clients across various industries.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist the audit team in conducting audits of financial statements and accounting records to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
  2. Prepare comprehensive audit working papers and ensure timely completion and delivery of audit engagements in accordance with firm policies and deadlines.
  3. Analyze financial data to identify potential risks, evaluate internal controls, and recommend effective solutions or improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
  4. Communicate and liaise with clients regarding accounting and audit-related matters, ensuring professional and effective client relationships.
  5. Actively participate in the firm's training and development programs to continuously enhance your technical knowledge and professional skills.

What we're looking for

  1. Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant experience in external audit are encouraged to apply.
  2. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  3. Professional accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, MICPA) are an advantage.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and Word) is preferred.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
