Job Description:

  • Plan, organize, and manage daily site operations according to project schedules and specifications.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth progress.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with drawings, technical specifications, safety, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules, work progress reports, and site records.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to resolve site issues and ensure work approvals.
  • Verify and coordinate materials requisition, deliveries, and inventory to prevent delays.
  • Monitor and control manpower, machinery, and material usage to achieve cost efficiency.
  • Lead site meetings, prepare progress updates, and ensure timely submission of project reports.
  • Coordinate with the Safety and Health Officer to ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
  • Identify potential delays or technical issues and implement corrective measures promptly.
  • Ensure all site documentation (RFI, site diary, inspection forms) is accurate and up to date.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., SACPCMP, CSCS, NEBOSH, OSHA) are an advantage.
  • 3–5 years of experience in construction or site supervision.
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and daily site operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of site safety protocols and ability to enforce HSE compliance.
  • Competence in documenting site activities, preparing daily/weekly progress reports.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, etc.).
