Responsibilities:-
1. Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Process supplier invoices and verify supporting documents.
  • Prepare payment vouchers and assist in monthly payment runs.
  • Ensure invoices are matched with purchase orders, delivery orders, and contracts.
  • Maintain vendor records and follow up on outstanding documents.
  • Assist in reconciling supplier statements.
2. Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Issue invoices, credit notes, and official receipts.
  • Update customer collections and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Maintain accurate debtor ageing reports.
  • Liaise with the sales/project team on billing matters.
3. General Accounting
  • Perform daily data entry into accounting systems (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, UBS).
  • Assist with month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare basic financial schedules and supporting documents.
  • Update petty cash, staff claims, and reimbursement records.
4. Documentation & Filing
  • Maintain proper filing of accounting documents (hardcopy & softcopy).
  • Prepare and update accounting records for audit purposes.
  • Ensure documents comply with internal control and company requirements.
5. Administrative Support
  • Assist with bank-in transactions and cheque preparation.
  • Coordinate with banks, suppliers, and internal departments when required.
  • Support HR/admin tasks (if assigned)
Qualifications:-
  • Must know operate Autocount Accounting Software .Minimum.
  • Diploma in Accounting /Finance/LCCI or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting system and Ms Office.
  • Meticulous with a sense of urgency and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Good interpersonal skills with positive attitude.
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu.
  • Being able to work in a team.
