Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Company Secretary located in Melaka. The Assistant Company Secretary will be responsible for assisting in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining and updating company records, preparing board resolutions and meeting minutes, and supporting the company's corporate governance framework. Additionally, the individual will assist in liaising with regulatory bodies and ensuring timely submission of statutory documents. The role will also require providing support in corporate advisory services and ad-hoc assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in handling compliance, statutory and regulatory requirements, and liaising with regulatory bodies
- Skills in maintaining and updating company records, preparing board resolutions, and meeting minutes
- Ability to support the company's corporate governance framework and provide corporate advisory services
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail
- Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Administration, Law, Business Administration, or related field
- ICSA qualification or MAICSA membership is an added advantage
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and company secretarial software
