Rise Intervention Programme Sdn Bhd (RISE) is a center dedicated to providing holistic Early Intervention Programmes for children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our goal is to prepare children for admission into mainstream learning institutions by providing individualized education plans, bridging competency gaps, and instilling confidence. We believe in offering equal education opportunities to all children, supporting their sustainable development to realize their full potentials. Our programs include play-based learning for toddlers and structured learning environments to improve communication and motor skills for early intervention.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher located in Petaling Jaya. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing individualized education plans, teaching and engaging in various teaching techniques for children with disabilities, and preparing children for mainstream education. The role also involves facilitating communication and improving gross motor development in a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in Disabilities and Special Education
  • Teaching skills, particularly in Middle School settings
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Experience in creating and implementing individualized education plans
  • Ability to work effectively with young children and understand their developmental needs
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology or a related field
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to teaching
