Company Description

RISE is a center that provides an Early Intervention Programme for children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. The center aims to prepare children for mainstream learning institutions by offering individualized education plans to bridge competency gaps and instill confidence. Learning through play is fundamental at RISE, employing toys, simple activities, books, worksheets, and flashcards for young toddlers. The Early Intervention Programme includes structured learning environments to enhance communication, gross motor development, and preparation for mainstream education.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Teacher at RISE Intervention Programme Sdn Bhd, located in Petaling Jaya. The Special Teacher will be responsible for implementing individualized education plans, engaging children in structured learning activities, and utilizing various teaching techniques and materials. Daily tasks include fostering communication skills, supporting gross motor development, and preparing children for mainstream education while collaborating with other educators and staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Teaching, Special Education, and working with Disabilities
  • Skills in Communication and Middle School education
  • Ability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Relevant certifications or degrees in special education , Psychology or related fields
