Key Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare technical specifications, drawings, and regulations for M&E systems.
  • Perform engineering calculations and provide technical support for design and installation.
  • Monitor site progress, prepare reports, and update the Project Manager regularly.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors on technical matters (method statements, shop drawings, material submissions, etc.).
  • Prepare method statements, shop drawings, QA/QC documents, T&C reports, work progress records, and other relevant documentation.
  • Ensure the quality and timely installation of M&E works according to approved drawings and schedules.
  • Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input to resolve project issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Supervise daily site work, inspect contractor workmanship, and keep proper records of inspections.
  • Conduct and witness testing and commissioning of M&E systems to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Liaise with authorities, subcontractors, and clients on submissions, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by management or the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in M&E coordination, site supervision, or similar engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems, drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Experience in method statements, shop drawings, QA/QC documentation, and T&C procedures is an advantage.
  • Familiar with local authorities' submission processes and requirements.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other engineering-related software.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently, multitask, and solve technical/site challenges.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites when necessary.
  • Immediate or short-notice availability will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM6,500.00 per month
