GLAMPICK is a beauty products company specializing in Asian beauty brands and is a leading distributor of Korean beauty brands in the country.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, our team work closely with partners from all over Asia such as Korea, Japan, Thailand, China, and Indonesia.
We currently have more than 20 brands and 1,000 doors across the nation and still growing.
Job Summary:
The Finance Manager will oversee the company's financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and compliance activities, supporting business growth in the skincare and beauty sector. This role requires strong expertise in cost control, inventory management, manufacturing finance, and cross-border transactions, particularly for Korea-based or Korea-linked operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans aligned with business strategy
Accounting & Reporting
- Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS / K-IFRS / local GAAP
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
Cost & Inventory Management
- Oversee cost accounting for manufacturing, OEM/ODM, packaging, and logistics
- Monitor inventory valuation, slow-moving stock, and write-offs
- Analyze BOM, COGS, and production efficiency for skincare and cosmetic products
Taxation & Compliance
- Manage corporate tax, VAT, customs duties, and transfer pricing (if applicable)
- Ensure compliance with Korean and international financial regulations
- Support regulatory reporting related to cosmetics, exports, and imports
Cash Flow & Treasury
- Manage cash flow planning, banking relationships, and working capital
- Oversee foreign currency transactions and exchange risk (KRW, USD, etc.)
- Optimize payment terms with suppliers and distributors
Business Support & Strategy
- Support pricing strategies, new product launches, and market expansion
- Partner with sales, marketing, supply chain, and R&D teams
- Prepare financial models for investments, partnerships, and expansion projects
Team & Systems Management
- Lead and develop the finance/accounting team
- Improve internal controls, financial processes, and ERP systems
Drive automation and efficiency in financial operations
- Analyze financial performance, margins, and variances; provide actionable insights to management
- Monitor profitability by product line, channel (online/offline), and market
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- CPA / ACCA / CMA or equivalent certification preferred
- 5–10+ years of finance experience, preferably in beauty, cosmetics, FMCG, or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of inventory, cost accounting, and supply chain finance
- Experience with Korean companies or Korea-related operations is a strong advantage
- Governance philosophies, policy and management practices
- Familiar with Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) accounting standard, tax regulation and statutory requirement
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Good time management skill to meet tight deadline and result oriented
- Self-starter, able to make judgements and prioritize effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM8, RM10,000.00 per month
