JOB OVERVIEW

  • Supervisory role in Accounting and Controlling.
  • Support Asia Pacific countries.
  • Work closely with the respective countries to deliver finance functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a team of accountants to support accounting and controlling activities for assigned countries.
  • Assign and organize roles and responsibilities within the team.
  • Review the work performed by the team to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to the team on new policies, work instructions, and group requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage monthly balance sheet reviews with Regional and Country teams.
  • Work closely with Management to implement and drive standardization of processes across countries supported by the shared service center.
  • Drive process commonality and simplification in line with company policies and guidelines.
  • Lead and coordinate job migrations from countries to the SSC according to planned schedules.
  • Achieve cost efficiency and eliminate redundancies through centralized operations.
  • Drive team engagement and motivation.
  • Plan resources and drive operational efficiency.
  • Monitor the team's KPIs.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team of accountants and strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with different cultures and manage cross-functional interfaces.
  • Able to guide and coach team members effectively.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline, or a professional accounting qualification.
  • 5–7 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
