Warehouse Clerk

Key responsibilities:
- Receiving and stocking: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against orders.
- Order fulfillment: Pick items, pack them securely, label them, and prepare them for shipping.
- Inventory management: Maintain accurate inventory records, perform stock checks, and investigate any discrepancies. Update inventory management systems with details on items issued, used, and returned.
- Warehouse maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. This can include operating machinery like a forklift to move materials.
- Communication: Liaise with team members, management, and sometimes vendors or customers to coordinate logistics, report discrepancies, and schedule shipments.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Education: SPM or equivalent is often required.
- Experience: Previous experience as a warehouse clerk or in a similar logistics role is preferred.
- Physical abilities: Ability to lift heavy objects (often up to 25Kg) and spend long periods standing.
- Technical skills: Basic computer skills for data entry and experience with warehouse management or inventory systems are beneficial.
- Soft skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
