Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare, review, and submit customs declarations, permits, and relevant shipping documentation. Handle CN export for import in Port Klang.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with customs regulations, government policies, and company requirements.
  • Verify HS codes, duties, taxes, and tariff classifications for accuracy.
  • Liaise with customs officers, port authorities, and relevant agencies to facilitate cargo clearance.
  • Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of customs entries, permits, and clearance statuses.
  • Monitor changes in customs regulations and communicate updates to the operations team.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies or issues that may delay cargo clearance.
  • Prepare regular reports on customs activities and clearance performance.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

Requirements :

  • SPM/Diploma/Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years' experience in customs documentation, freight forwarding, or logistics (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
  • Experiences handle CN exports for Import will be added advantages.
  • Knowledge of customs procedures, HS codes, and trade compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customs/forwarding software systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
