Job Summary

As a Data Analyst at MR DIY, you will be instrumental in harnessing data to drive strategic business decisions. This role involves collecting and analysing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that directly inform expansion strategies and operational efficiencies. By transforming complex data into clear and actionable insights, you will help maintain our leading edge in the competitive retail market.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and validate data from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Perform detailed data analysis to detect patterns, trends, and correlations that could influence business strategies.
  • Develop and deliver regular reports on findings to stakeholders, highlighting actionable insights and recommendations for business growth and operational improvements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions and support.
  • Address ad-hoc data queries and conduct thorough investigations to resolve data discrepancies and issues.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data analytics tools and methodologies to continually enhance the analytics functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Operational Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in data analysis or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other analytical tools. Knowledge of data visualization software and SQL is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and a proven ability to work effectively in a team.
