We are looking for an experienced SMT Production Supervisor.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Directly supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of production operators and technicians.
  • Manage employee schedules, timekeeping, attendance, and overtime allocation.

Production Management & Execution:

  • Execute the daily production schedule to meet customer delivery commitments and output targets.
  • Monitor production lines in real-time, making adjustments to manpower, materials, and machinery to maintain flow and efficiency.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to organize the workspace and eliminate waste.
  • Ensure all equipment is operational and coordinate with maintenance for repairs and preventative maintenance.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all products are built to specification and meet established quality standards.
  • Monitor quality metrics (e.g., First Pass Yield, Defect Rates) and implement corrective actions to address root causes of defects.
  • Work closely with the Quality department to resolve non-conformances and implement robust solutions.

Performance & Continuous Improvement:

  • Track, analyze, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects (Kaizen events) to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials and work-in-progress (WIP) within the production cell.
