Mechanical Design Engineer (Semiconductor) - Batu Kawan - Penang

Job Requirement:

  • This is a Taiwanese MNC – hence Mandarin Speaking is a must.
  • Good command of English and Chinese and Malaysian (read, write and speak).
  • Development of semiconductor-specific automated equipment / mechanical design and structural evaluation
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of mechanical processes and systems for manufacturing operations
  • Work cross-functionally with maintenance, quality assurance, R&D, and operations to ensure alignment on manufacturing goals
  • Testing and selection of mechanical materials
  • Drafting mechanical design drawings
  • Feasibility assessment
  • Testing and installation
  • CNC machines experience is advantage

Preferred Tools:

  • AutoCAD, AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD 3D, SolidWorks, Solid Edge

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor Degree - Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields
  • Around 5 years of experience in MECHANICAL/process engineering/Industrial/manufacturing process
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
