Job Summary

As an Editor at PR Newswire (a Cision company), dedicated to news distribution, you will focus on proofreading, gaining insight into the significance of press releases while developing expertise in the fields of Public Relations and Media.

If you excel in a quiet, focused environment and feel comfortable working midnight hours (10 PM to 7 AM), this position is an ideal fit for you. You will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality press release distribution while supporting clients from different markets.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Format client press releases, proofread documents with speed and accuracy;
  • Offer professional suggestions to customers on how to improve their press releases;
  • Ensure all client requests are handled to the highest customer service standards;
  • Ensure that the team's routine workflow runs smoothly and that tasks are managed properly;
  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding on distribution platforms and processes;
  • Maintain seamless collaboration with colleagues in other functions and provide help as needed;
  • Provide regular feedback of operations activities to Supervisor.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 1 year working experience is preferred, Fresh Graduates are also welcome to apply
  • Confident in Mandarin is essential with required ability in reading and writing Simplified Chinese;
  • High proficiency in written Englishis a must;
  • Highly self-motivated and independent

Work Arrangements

  • 5 days a week, 8 hours a day plus 1 hour break time;
  • Comfortable for overnight working, from 10 pm to 7 am
  • Successful hire will be trained during daytime office hours for the first few months
