Tasks & responsibilities
- Oversee the full scope of R&D works related to existing product expansion as well as new product development.
- Ensure continuous improvement of R&D practices and compliance to company Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and food safety standards.
- To improve and revise existing product formulations and processes if necessary to optimize productivity and cost.
- In charge in sourcing and procurement of materials for product testing and development.
- To carry out R&D projects such as formulation, sample preparation and sensory evaluation that comply with food regulation.
- Labelling related to food safety (Nutrition, Ingredients listing, Allergen Statement, Dosage of Consumption etc.)
- Registration, Statutory and Regulatory Study Product Registration – liaise with MOH
- Prepare documents such as formula, label, and evaluation reports
- To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time
Qualifications & experience
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology /Food Science, Chemistry, Bio Technology;
- Preferably candidate with more than 2 years' experience in Food Manufacturing.
- Familiar on compliance of food safety standard such as ISO 9001, HACCP, HALAL, GMP and ISO quality management systems and other food-related regulations requirements is beneficial.
- Independent and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Target oriented and ability to work under pressure to meet targets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience with statistical process control and quality management systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2, RM2,800.00 per month
