Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting functions. The ideal candidate will handle general ledger maintenance, intercompany transactions and reconciliations, bank reconciliations, monthly and year-end closing activities, and support the annual audit process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Maintain and update the General Ledger (GL), ensuring all entries are accurate and properly supported.
  • Handle intercompany transactions, including billing, settlements, and reconciliations.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
  • Coordinate and support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Manage intercompany reconciliation to ensure balances are aligned across entities.
  • Liaise with external auditors and assist in the year-end audit process by providing required documentation and schedules.
  • Review accounting records and identify improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in full set of accounts.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding on Taxation
  • Have knowledge on year end audit
  • Experience in Bank Reconciliation / Intero Reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
