We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Planners & Material Planners to join our team

These roles require good communication skills in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and customers.

Production Planner (Mandarin required)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to plan and translate customer orders into the production schedule.
  • Develop, monitor, and control daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand and line capacity.
  • Coordinate with SMT and backend assembly departments to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
  • Analyze material readiness, equipment availability, and manpower allocation to minimize downtime.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams — production, engineering, and materials — to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Track WIP (work-in-progress) and highlight potential risks or delays proactively.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Communicate with customers on the delivery schedule.
  • Work closely with material team to ensure sufficient material inventory to fulfil production needs.

Material Planner (Mandarin required)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and control material flow to support production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders when required.
  • Liaise with suppliers, especially Mandarin-speaking suppliers/ customers, to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure materials availability.
  • Generate material planning and inventory reports.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Management, or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within an EMS or electronics environment (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply).
  • Sound knowledge of SMT and backend assembly manufacturing processes is required.
  • Good command of Mandarin (spoken and written) is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MRP / ERP systems.
