IT Support and System Engineer

The IT Support and System Engineer plays a dual role in maintaining office IT infrastructure and supporting project-related system activities. The position requires a hands-on, technically skilled professional capable of ensuring system reliability, security, and performance across both internal and project environments.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Support

  • Provide daily technical and user support for office IT systems.
  • Coordinate with IT teams and vendors to resolve issues and implement upgrades.
  • Manage and maintain IT assets, software, and network equipment.
  • Lead system implementation, upgrade, and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Maintain IT documentation and support audits and compliance checks.

Project IT System Support

  • Support installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of project systems.
  • Monitor and verify system performance and integration across subsystems.
  • Assist in system verification and commissioning to ensure compliance with standards.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or integration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical skills.
  • Able to work independently in office and project environments.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, networking, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) preferred.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3, RM5,500.00 per month
