Cloud Infrastructure Design & Architecture

  • Design secure, scalable VPC architectures and hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Develop infrastructure blueprints, network topologies, and security models.
  • Select optimal cloud services (IaaS, PaaS) based on workload needs.

Cloud Deployment, Integration & Automation

  • Deploy and configure cloud components using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Implement and manage OpenStack, VMware ESXi/vCenter/vSAN, and FusionSphere.
  • Automate provisioning and operational tasks for efficiency.

Enterprise Workload Migration

  • Plan and execute migrations (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, re-factoring) to AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenStack.
  • Use migration tools (VMware HCX, Azure Migrate, AWS MGN).
  • Ensure minimal downtime and data integrity.

Database Platform Management

  • Deploy and optimize databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) in cloud environments.
  • Implement HA, DR, backup, and performance tuning strategies.
  • Ensure database security and compliance.

Managed Infrastructure & Operations

  • Implement monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
  • Establish procedures for patching, security hardening, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
  • Provide Tier 3/4 support for complex issues.

Backup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

  • Design and manage cloud backup strategies (Veeam, Commvault, AWS/Azure Backup).
  • Architect and test DR and BCP solutions; lead DR drills.
  • Advise clients on DR strategy and compliance.

Security & Compliance

  • Apply cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, vulnerability management).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, PDPA, PCI DSS.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Maintain technical documentation (design docs, runbooks, SOPs).
  • Mentor junior engineers.

Operations & Life-Cycle Management

  • Define procedures for monitoring, maintenance, upgrades.
  • Conduct performance tuning and root cause analysis.
  • Provide post-deployment optimization.

Client Engagement & Delivery

  • Gather requirements, present solutions, and lead technical workshops.
  • Act as trusted advisor for cloud strategy and transformation.

Qualifications:

  • Cloud Platforms: Deep, hands-on expertise with at least two major public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMWare) AND/OR significant experience with OpenStack private cloud deployment and management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent demonstrable experience).

Minimum years of experience required to perform this job:

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise IT infrastructure, with a minimum of 3+ years focused on public/private cloud platforms.
