Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Experience

Greet customers warmly and assist with seating.​

Present menus and provide recommendations on food and drinks.​

Take orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen and barista team.​

Ensure customers have everything they need and check on their satisfaction.​

Order Delivery & Table Service
​

Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.​

Follow Illy's standards for presentation and service.​

Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests.​

Sales & Upselling
​

Suggest pairings and promote seasonal specials.​

Upsell Illy's coffee, pastries, and signature items.​

Hygiene & Cleanliness
​

Keep the dining area clean, organized, and presentable.​

Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.​

Assist with Opening & Closing Tasks as directed by Manager/Supervisor.​

Team Support & Efficiency
​

Assist the cashier, baristas, and kitchen team as needed.​

Help manage peak hours by working efficiently with the team.​

​

Other ad-hoc tasks as and when required​

Requirements

  • Endurance to walk and stand for long hours.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Coordination to carry plates or trays without dropping anything.
  • Able to speak fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia.
