PROJECT MANAGER

We're seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and results-driven Project Manager to manage the full hospital development process.

What You'll Do:

As the Project Manager, you'll be the driving force behind successful project delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:


• Manage the full hospital development process, including planning, design, and authority submissions.


• Review drawings, specifications, and documents to ensure compliance with client/user requirements, regulations, technical standards, and design guidelines.


• Lead and coordinate the consultant team to ensure regulatory compliance for design approvals and submissions.


• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, regulatory authorities, and key stakeholders.


• Oversee project cost management to ensure alignment with approved budgets.


• Manage and coordinate the preparation of tender documents and oversee the tendering process.


• Oversee daily project operations, exercising independent decision-making with minimal supervision to ensure smooth execution.


• Monitor and manage contractor performance, ensuring all work aligns with contract terms and project objectives.


• Enforce quality assurance standards and ensure construction activities comply with all specifications and regulatory requirements.


• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and environmental management standards.


• Provide regular progress reports to management and clients, tracking project timelines and proposing solutions for improvement.


• Manage the Certificate of Practical Completion (CPC) process, implement defect management plans, and ensure a smooth handover to the client/end-user.


• Coordinate authority inspections and manage the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) process.

Who Are We Looking For:

  • Master / Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Quantity Surveying / Building / Project or Construction Management
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management (with healthcare facilities would be an added advantage.)
  • Basic knowledge in civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of Bill of Quantities, drawing mastery and ESH is required.
  • Experience in Local Authority and CKAPS liaison would be an added advantage.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent time management, organization skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in using autoCAD software, Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point presentation
  • Able to speak and write fluently in English and Malay, Mandarin speaking will be added advantage
  • Ability and desire to work collaboratively to ensure successful project execution.
