Maintenance Engineer

We are Asia largest producer and fastest growing Bleaching Earth Clay Group Companies. We have seven manufacturing plants in three different countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

Job Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

• To implement Preventive Maintenance Program to achieve at least 90% machine uptime.
• To work in hand with other department heads (production, store, purchasing, safety, etc) for smooth operation of the plant and resolve breakdown calls.
• To assist in machinery upgrade and other technical project works.
• To keep proper inventory records of staff personal tools and workshop equipments.
• To manage & control maintenance spare parts.
• To prepare daily/weekly/monthly maintenance reports.
• To control monthly maintenance cost within given budget.
• To manage and train the entire maintenance staff for efficiency.
• To ensure the entire work area is in good housekeeping condition.
• To ensure that the MS ISO 9001:2015, MS 1480:2007, MS 2200 Part 2:2012, OSHA and DOE are effectively implemented and meet the relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
• To undertake any other tasks as directed by the Superior/ Management as and when required.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or others related field.
• Able to work with minimum supervisions and handle pressure.
• Able to lead a team of 30 or more maintenance personnel.
• Computer literate.
• At least 5 years working experience preferably in chemical or heavy manufacturing environment
• Position is to be based in Parit Buntar.
