This is a full-time, office-based role in Kuala Lumpur.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join an accounting firm based in Ireland.

What You'll Do:

Key Duties:

  • Preparation of periodic management accounts including preparing accruals and prepayments using Xero Accounting software
  • Oversight and management of your team to include training and time management
  • Weekly reviews of Bank and Cash Reconciliations, and other client specific reconciliations
  • Preparing and processing invoices, journals and supplier payments
  • Preparing cashflows for clients
  • Periodic statutory tax returns

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in preparing full set of accounts is essential.
  • Proficiency in professional communication, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Competence in using relevant accounting software (e.g. Xero preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Highly reliable, possesses a strong attention to detail, and has a professional demeanour. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is essential.
  • Part or fully qualified accountant is preferred (ACCA or international chartered accountant qualification)
