OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  1. Focal Point For All Operations And Support Service Of Base
  2. Comply To The Requirements Of Competence Management System

PRINCIPLE DUTIES

  1. To Ensure All Tasks Carried Out In Accordance With The Clients And Company Hse And Quality Policies.
  2. To Comply To The Requirements Of Competence Management System
  3. To Familiarize (And Understand The Objective) With Working Program For All Jobs And Also Able To Produce If Necessary. Communicate With Client To Ensure Work Program Prepared Meeting The Objective.
  4. Perform Pre Briefing Session With Wireline Crew At Least 1 Day Prior To Going Offshore.
  5. Perform Post Briefing Session With Wireline Crew Immediately After Returning From Worksite.
  6. To Familiarize With Ais Equipment (Emr/Mit/Mplt/Echometer/Surface Data Acquisition System). Also Able To Understand Operating, Running And Maintenance Procedures.
  7. Responsible To Ensure All Equipments/Tools Are In Good Working Condition.To Perform Function Test On Equipments/Tools With Proper Ais Test Report
  8. To Report Any Failure And Follow With Testing And Troubleshooting. Any Finding Need To Be Compiled In Ais Problem Report.
  9. To Update And Maintain Ais Equipment/Tool Record.
  10. To Communicate/Get Advice From Principals On Equipment Issue.

When Requested, Engineer Needs To Be Offshore To Do Ais Logging Job With Deleum Or 3Rd Party Crew. Engineer Need To:

  • Ensure All Job Performed Follow Working Procedure As Agreed By Client/Supervisor.
  • Ensure Follow Safety Procedure.
  • Report (Equipment And Job Status Complete With Summary (Quickview Report) To Town Base On Daily Basis.
  • Troubleshoot And Rectify Problem (If Any) And Advice Town On Finding Through Phone Or Problem Report. Engineer Also Needs To Ensure Problem To Be Solved Soonest Possible.
  • Supervise And Ensure Operation Carried Out By Training Engineer Follow Procedure.

Upon Return To Base From Offshore, Engineer Need To:

  • Highlight To His/Her Supervisor About Job Status.
  • Submit All Necessary Document/Paperwork (Daily Report, Time Marking Sheet, Etc) To Base.
  • Contact Client (If Necessary) To Update Operation Status.
  • Complete Final Report Soonest Possible Before Taking Leave.
  • Be Ready To Do Presentation Upon Request By Client/Supervisor.
  • Ensure All Information Such As Job History, Equipment And Battery Record To Be Updated In Agreed System.

While Working At Base, Engineer Need To:

  • Ensure Ais Monitoring And Filing System Is Up To Date.
  • Assist Other Engineers/Logging Engineers Who Working Offshore From Base.
  • Ensure Ais Equipment Are In Good Working Condition And Follow Item (3)
  • Other Extra Duties Assigned By Superior

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB

ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
