Assistant Manager – Operations

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day business operations by implementing effective methods and processes that enable the company to operate at its maximum efficiency.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES
- Adhere to Deleum Code of Business Conduct
- Comply with the requirements of competence management system. Performance Base on Competency Program (PBCP)
- Adhere to Deleum and/or customer's QHSE requirement
- Assist on managing organizational logistics, preparing budgets and inventories, and overseeing employee supervision
- Foster a work environment that encourages teamwork, energy, and creativity by demonstrating strong leadership, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills
- Enhance the technical capability of the company's workforce (engineers, sales, etc.) for AIS and Principal Base products/services, while providing clients with solutions to their well issues
- Responsible for implementing business measures, new guidelines, and strategies, while working closely with other department heads, particularly senior business managers
- Improve the company's working environment and business processes while strengthening client relationships and ensuring the continuity of business operations
- Perform various functions to achieve objectives, including providing feedback, training, and team development. In customer service, they ensure staff recruitment focuses on quality and customer orientation, while driving client satisfaction and consistent revenue growth
- Assist in office management tasks, and in preparing, revising, and submitting reports, budgets, and other documentation
- Oversee customer service departments to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to address client service issues or queries and communicate relevant information to departments on behalf of management
- Support the sales team in tender preparation, follow-up, and all technical-related matters, while identifying and expanding into domestic and regional sales markets
- Support the Operations Manager in managing client service matters, coordinating inter-departmental communication, and monitoring customer feedback and statistical trends
- Oversee all technical enquiries related to Principal business, ensuring they are handled appropriately and resolved in a timely manner
- Perform tasks and responsibilities beyond those explicitly outlined in the job description as and when required, provided such tasks are reasonably related to the job and fall within the scope of your qualifications and expertise
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Operations & Intervention Engineering, including well production, stimulation, production enhancement, and idle well reactivation, with basic knowledge of sales and marketing
- Ability to review and learn approved new technologies and/or products/services for potential introduction to clients as new business opportunities
- Proficient in computer and software applications
ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
Degree in any Engineering or other relevant discipline
