Overview

Alayna Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support our daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure smooth handling of goods, accurate inventory records, and timely fulfillment of orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery orders.
  • Assist in unloading and loading goods using manual handling or equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift where applicable).
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of goods according to company procedures.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for dispatch.
  • Perform stock replenishment and organize inventory on shelves/racks.
  • Conduct routine stock checks and report discrepancies.
  • Update inventory records in the system or logbooks.
  • Assist with periodic stock-taking activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse at all times.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use warehouse equipment responsibly.
  • Report damaged goods, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors.
  • Assist Warehouse Supervisor in daily operational tasks.
  • Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Provide general support for any ad-hoc warehouse-related duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in warehouse or logistics operations is an advantage (training can be provided).
  • Ability to read and understand delivery orders, packing lists, and inventory labels.
  • Physically fit and able to handle moderate lifting.
  • Good teamwork, communication skills, and sense of responsibility.
