Responsibilities

As an Audit Intern, you will support the audit team in day-to-day tasks, including:

  • Assisting in planning and executing audit assignments under supervision.
  • Reviewing and verifying financial documents, receipts, and supporting schedules.
  • Performing basic audit testing and documentation.
  • Assisting in preparing audit working papers and reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, audit procedures, and company policies.
  • Helping the team identify discrepancies or issues during the audit process.
  • Maintaining proper file organisation and documentation.
  • Supporting ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Audit Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Good attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Office.
  • Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
