About the role

We are seeking a young and talented Mechanical Engineering professional to join our team in Rawang. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative devices for use by scientist.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in 3D & 2D mechanical engineering design of life sciences instrument or home appliances or small devices
  • Good in 3D design software, preferable AutoCAD Inventor
  • Knowledge in aluminum die casting and plastic injection molding
  • Good communication skill in English

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and design laboratory and analytical products
  • Prepare technical documentation and drawings (operation instruction, calibration certificate, assembly sequence, test parameters etc.)
  • Prepare cost calculation at difference design steps, from engineering to production
  • Conduct hazard and risk analysis for the products
  • Assembly and test functional and prototype models
  • Attend and cooperate with the team on the part change and quality issue
