About the role

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of GSK TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD's vehicle automotive industry businesses based in Bukit Beruntung, Rawang, Selangor. This full-time position will see you work closely in sales team to provide support to our customers. You will be responsible for understanding their needs, recommending the right solutions, and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing support to the sales team and customers
  2. Assisting in the development of sales proposals and presentations
  3. Conducting product demonstrations sessions for customers
  4. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to ensure the timely delivery of solutions
  5. Gathering customer feedback and insights to help improve our products and services
  6. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Mechanical Engineering

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Business, Marketing Administration / Mechanical Engineering or in any other related field study
  2. With sales role working experience in automotive industry as a Sales Engineer will be an added advantage.
  3. Strong understanding and fast learner in Mechanical Engineering principles and applications
  4. Excellent communication, good negotiation skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with customers and cross-functional teams
  5. Proficient in problem-solving and analytical thinking
  6. Familiarity with sales processes and the ability to close deals
  7. Willingness to travel to customer sites whenever is required
  8. Well-communicator in bilingual languages, interact with stakeholder from China and Taiwan; ability in corresponding in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
