About the role

Join ZBOM SDN BHD as an Interior Designer and be a key part of our dynamic team. This full-time role in Tanjung Tokong Penang will see you creating captivating interior designs that bring our clients' visions to life. With a focus on the Interior Design industry, you'll leverage your exceptional design skills to deliver exceptional results.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences
  • Develop creative 2D and 3D interior design concepts and proposals
  • Prepare detailed design plans, technical drawings and specifications
  • Source and select appropriate materials, furniture, fixtures and equipment
  • Oversee the implementation of interior design projects from start to finish
  • Ensure all design work meets relevant building codes and regulations
  • Provide professional advice and guidance to clients throughout the design process

What we're looking for

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or related field
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in an interior design role
  • Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Autodesk 3ds Max, Enscape, Corona and V-Ray
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors and the wider design team
  • Keen eye for detail and a flair for creating visually stunning designs
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest interior design trends, materials and industry standards
  • Experience in submission and documentation of a project is a plus
  • Possess own transport
