  • Job Summary

Responsible for managing the company's General Ledger functions, ensuring accurate financial records, timely closing, and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy of postings.
  • Prepare journal entries (accruals, prepayments, adjustments, provisions).
  • Perform monthly balance sheet schedules and reconciliation.
  • Assist in timely month-end and year-end closing.
  • Prepare financial reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (MFRS) and internal controls.
  • Monitor fixed assets, depreciation, additions, and disposals.
  • Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Support financial audits by preparing required schedules.
  • Collaborate with other departments for financial data accuracy.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Min. 2–4 years experience in GL or full-set accounts.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and month-end closing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to handle confidential information with integrity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,300.00 per month
