JOB SUMMARY
As an Executive | Succession Planning, As an Executive | Succession Planning, you are responsible for supporting and coordinating the execution of the organisation's succession planning framework and processes. You will also help to extend succession accountability across the organisation, assist in the use of assessment tools, maintain accurate data and provide support for governance and continuous improvement in succession planning.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Succession Planning
- Support the coordination and monitoring of the Succession Planning framework for Critical Positions (Enterprise and Divisional).
- Assist in preparing and updating Talent Bench Strength reports, talent profiles, database and documentation for Management and Committee review.
- Contribute to the preparation of papers, documentation and reports related to succession planning.
2. Talent Assessment
- Support the development and use of assessment tools to foster a culture of talent development.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure quality assurance of assessment outcomes.
3. Improvement Initiatives/Projects
- Participate in improvement projects to process efficiency in succession planning.
- Benchmark industry best practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement in succession and talent development.
4. Administrative & Coordination Support
- Coordinate the committee meetings, including preparation of meeting materials, drafting minutes of meetings and monitoring follow-up actions to ensure smooth execution.
- Prepare presentation decks, reports and updates for committee meetings and other governance bodies.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support planning and execution of succession planning framework and processes.
- Involve in administrative tasks related to budgeting, reporting and departmental governance compliance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian citizen
- Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Business, Literature / TESL / or related fields from any local or overseas universities which recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)
- At least 2 years of experience in HR-related fields of Organization Development, Talent Development or Succession Planning, or any other related fields that meets the role requirement.
- Sound knowledge in talent management/succession planning.
- Strong analytical, result-oriented, process-driven, self-starter with the ability to multitask and work both independently and as a team member.
- Good interpersonal skills, able to work in a diverse environment and build good working relationships with business partners.
- Good report-writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in both oral and written Malay and English language or a related field.
