Responsibilities:

To assist Finance Manager in the following job scope:-

  1. To secure funding for on-going and future projects and working capital requirement including analysis and preparation of project financing cashflow.
  2. To complete loan documentation after financing is secured to emplace loan for drawdown.
  3. Ad-hoc requests and documentation in relation to existing bank facilities (ie request for bank's consent and retrieval of land title documentation for project land charged to bank for matters such as surrender partial land, sub-division, amalgamation etc).
  4. Furnish information required for annual review of existing bank facilities to the Banks.
  5. To review loan documentation and financial performance and ensure compliance with the terms and covenants of existing bank facilities.

  6. Cash and liquidity management solutions:-

  7. Optimize available funds to be placed in various financial instruments such as interest-bearing current accounts, fixed deposits, money market placement, sweeping, investment funds etc.

  8. Improve working capital flows, ie keep abreast with the bank's new features/system/products for online payments to implement to ease workflow or other matters

  9. Prepare treasury reports to summarize existing loans, latest status of loan and outstanding matters in relation to treasury.

  10. To assist in preparing all aspects of the corporate finance related activities of the group companies, including corporate planning, facilitating and completing such transactions.
  11. To coordinate the works of investment bankers, auditors, solicitors, valuers and other parties involved in a corporate exercise.
  12. To assist in preparing the company's statutory obligations with Bursa Securities and the Securities Commission and other regulatory authorities to ensure compliance.
  13. Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management from time to time.

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:

  1. Recognized bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics or Business related studies or relevant professional qualifications such as CA/ACCA/CPA/CFA.
  2. Minimum 7 years of experience in finance related field or in Treasury & Corporate Finance, Commercial/Corporate Banking and/or property development.
  3. Familiar with the various guidelines of the authorities such as Securities Commission, Bursa Malaysia Securities and Bank Negara.
  4. Possess excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Familiar with banking facilities and project financing cash flow.
  6. Possess excellent skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
