Job Description:

  • Responsible for overseeing compensation and benefits operations, including expatriate management such as payroll, taxation, and mobility coordination
  • Familiar with end to end payroll processes including overtime, allowances, deductions, and final pay
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian regulation, tax law, statutory requirements and processes
  • Accountable to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and delivery as per Payroll schedule; calendar of activities and overall data integrity of HR master data in the Payroll system
  • Partner with Internal Super User to perform the monthly reconciliation data audit between the Payroll system
  • Maintain accurate and updated record management for employee master data
  • Liaising with local government statutory bodies such as LHDN, EPF, SOCSO
  • Liaising with external vendors such as insurance providers, medical panels, wellness perks etc.
  • To collate and compile reports for department and management
  • Able to supervise work of subordinates and guide them, resolve issues, and serve as a link between subordinates and upper management
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as per required by the manager

Job Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of working experience in payroll or accounting background from any industry
  • Diploma or Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or any other related fields
  • Proficient in English, Malay and Mandarin. Proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory as the role requires communicating with Chinese stakeholders
  • SHRM – CP, CIPD, AHRI certification preferable
  • Good with data and tools - pivot tables, formulas, spreadsheets

Working location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur

Working days and hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
